The rules for using this website and attending our events
Last updated: March 2026 • Governing law: England & Wales
Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or attending any WeyFurs event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service and our Code of Conduct. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or attend our events.
These terms apply to all visitors to the website and all attendees of WeyFurs events, regardless of how they found out about us.
Use of This Website
This website is provided for informational purposes about WeyFurs community events. You agree that you will not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website or its underlying infrastructure.
- Use this website to transmit unsolicited communications, spam, or malicious content.
- Misuse the contact form or any other submission mechanism for harassment or abuse.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or replicate content from this website without permission.
Event Attendance
Attendance at WeyFurs events is subject to the following conditions:
- You must be aged 18 or over. No exceptions.
- You must comply with our Code of Conduct at all times.
- You must follow the reasonable instructions of WeyFurs staff and venue personnel.
- You must comply with all applicable venue rules and UK law.
- WeyFurs reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from an event without prior notice, for safety or conduct reasons.
Photography & Media
Personal photography of individuals who have given explicit consent is permitted within the general event space. The following restrictions apply:
- Always obtain clear consent before photographing another attendee.
- Commercial, press, or promotional photography is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from WeyFurs organisers.
- No photography is permitted in fursuit changing areas.
- If you believe photos of you are being used without consent, contact us immediately via the contact page.
Enforcement & Bans
WeyFurs organisers may issue warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans at our discretion. Enforcement actions are taken when these terms or the Code of Conduct are violated.
We will not engage in detailed public discussion of the reasons for banning an individual. Ban decisions made collectively by the organising team are final.
Attempting to attend an event whilst banned may result in police involvement if necessary.
Limitation of Liability
WeyFurs is a volunteer-run community organisation. We take reasonable steps to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our events, but we cannot be held responsible for:
- Personal injury or property loss not caused by WeyFurs staff negligence.
- The actions of third-party venues, vendors, or other attendees.
- Event cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. venue closures, public safety incidents).
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The most current version will always be published on this page, with the date of last update shown at the top. Continued attendance at WeyFurs events after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
